PLEASE HELP- How Do I turn Off Win 10 Update error? 8007025D-2000c

    Hi
I have zero interest in Windows 10 and am sick and tired of this being forced on myself.

I keep on getting this update error 8007025D-2000c I have run just about everything that I have found on the web and this will not stop, also I found a program called NEVER 10 and tried that to no avail.

Side note I did but a brand new Alienware R8 that came with Win10 in it, had a few days ans promptly sent it back because of this software, its just plain bad and bloated.

In the meantime I tried to install in my on second PC (this one I,m having this issue on) to look into it more and again there is no way that this will be forces on myself. So did the uninstall and now and stuck with this error and cant stop it.

    Any help appreciated,

    TIA

So are you saying that you have looked at this . . .

    . . . and this . . .

This might help: www.SecurityXploded.com -- they have a Windows 7 update blocker that can be set by the user. For a long time, I had that utility keep all updates away. My school firewall blocks, so I cannot look and get the name for you. Be advised it is either all or none, this utility will not allow picking and chosing which updates to allow and which updates to block.

    Hi

    This comment is intriguing me

In the meantime I tried to install in my on second PC (this one I,m having this issue on)

Where did you get the install media???
Certainly doesn't sound like a standard W7 Iso- An Image/clone from another comp

As its a newer comp with a W10 initial install, there are other steps needed to enable W7

    Hi jjr,

    Please run this . . .

MGADiag - Check If Your Version Of Windows Is Genuine

The MGADiag Tool provides detailed information about the Microsoft Genuine Advantage components and settings on your system. The MGADiag.exe can be used to analyze and troubleshoot a non-genuine notification issue you may be experiencing.

Download the MGADiag Tool [direct download] => MGADiag Tool. Run the MGADiag.exe and click Continue. It will immediately tell you if your version of Win 7 is Genuine or not.

The [B]MGADiag Tool[/B however, does not automatically create a log file. What you can do though, is either . . .

[1] Click the COPY button and PASTE the results into your post [preferable].
[2] Click the COPY button and PASTE the results into notepad and SAVE it. Then UPLOAD the file.

If you installed Win 7 on a Win 10 computer, you would have needed to include the appropriate drivers [USB, Motherbourd, Chipset etc]. This is because Win 7 doesn't natively support the newer type of hardware etc.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi

I know how the W10 upgrade works NOW

When you downloaded/ran the W10 MCT it gives you the option to either
    (A) Start from scratch (clean install)
    OR
    (B) install with current data (update)

On your problem computer im assuming it WAS W7
and you chose (?) of the above, unfortunately both could give you that error code, UNKNOWN

Please tell me the stateS of the problem computer

    such as / or

Originally W10 downgraded to W7, if yes HOW, this is what im after

A standard W7 ISO DOES NOT have the upgrade KB on it UNLESS it was an image/clone from another comp
