rip. I guess the camera just doesnt like USB 3.0! because i get higher resolution in a USB 2.0 port
its broken or messed up or something because its limited to 320x240 30FPS when plugged into a working USB 3.0 port (A driver tool even says that the port is running in USB 3.0 super speed mode) but i get up to 2K resolution in USB 2.0 somethings wrong with the camera ![]() I even made sure i didnt have any other things plugged into the USB 3.0 ports of my pc. no difference. I managed to force the 8th gen/series driver to install by navigating to the driver .inf with device manager. Now i have a supported windows pc and i dont have to worry about being cut off from the driver files anymore I tested another USB 3.0 device and it worked flawlessly no problem. full speed over 100mb/s read and write speed for a sata USB 3.0 adapter |

I don't think it's the camera. It could be, but I'm wondering if it's got more to do with the PC's chipset more than anything. It could be a communications issue with the camera and the chipset. Or it's driver related.

I have no idea but in USB 2.0 port i could get full resolution but i'm limited to lower framerate. like 5FPS for 1080p. and 2FPS for 2K. very disappointing. ended up packaging it back up to return it.
the gain and exposure are also pretty terrible too. gain messes with the contrast and colors a lot. |
