4 port usb3.0 card

I think I need drivers for usb card, but I don't remember who I purchased it from. The only markings on the card are DW-VL805-T4B and TX29. It is installed in a HP a6400f with dual core e2200 CPU. Do those numbers give enough info to locate drivers?

Hello muellerk,

Welcome to Seven Forums.

You can get the necessary Software and Drivers directly from HP.

Click on this link HP Software and Driver Downloads for HP Desktops | HP(R) Customer Support and click on the Blue button labelled "Let HP Detect your Product".

Seems this is what you have and a driver for it- VIA Labs VL805 USB 3.0 Controller Driver | USB Driver

However, I would use the driver from HP as suggested by iko22 if the card came with the HP. You're first post suggests it's an add-on.

Thank you, Wither2. The download from Via Labs did the trick.

USB3 to USB 3 on a PCIE card
Hi there - I installed a new Etron 4-port USB3 PCIE card today, and to my surprise it seems not to want to transfer files between two USB3 drives. Is that normal? (I am going through my PC, which is still relatively fast, but a PITA! ) Thanks.
