    Hello All
My first post so hello again.

I have a Dell E6230, 4gb ram and am stuck installing win7 pro 64. I have downloaded drivers from Dell onto ext hdd. I cant install any of these drivers I get error message Procedure entry point AddDlldirectory could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll.
I cant install any network drivers so no internet access.
Win7 is installed from dvd and starts but cant install drivers
    Has anyone any ideas

Hi so you got windows installed right? on a internet connected computer go to dell support page and download the chipset driver and save it to a disk or flash drive. put in the disk or flash drive in laptop and install the chipset drivers then restart computer. do the same for the network drivers once they are installed get the rest of drivers from dell support page with laptop you installed to.

Updating the chipset didn't help but downloading Windows6.1-KB2533623-x64.msu from ms and updating win7 did so I could install all other drivers and activate too.
    Thanks for help anyway
    All the best
