    Windows 7 Driver for "Intel Wireless-AC 9461"

Hi! The previously mentioned driver has no variant available for Windows 7. I'm trying to use Windows 7 as it's much quicker than Windows 10, but Windows 7 won't detect my internet adapter, and no driver is available for it. Would anyone know if any other driver works, or if there's a custom driver available?

According to the Intel site, the Intel Wireless-AC 9461 has an executable driver only for Windows 10 64-bit.
    Downloads for Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9461

THIS Windows 7 64-bit driver (3rd one down from the top of the list) may work for you.
It's in .ZIP format and needs to be extracted first before installing it via the Device Manager.

I seem to recall others searching on other forums. Probably easiest to get a dongle which does have win7 drivers.

I'm not able to get a dongle right now. Gonna see if the aforementioned zip file works though.

I downloaded the file, but there's no application to install it with included in the zip.

You need to extract the contents of that .ZIP file inside an empty folder.
    4 files will appear.

    Go into the Device Manager.
Right-click that wireless device, then select to update its driver.

Browse to the folder with the list of extracted files.
Select the netwsw04.inf file, then click OK.

If all goes well, it will install driver version 19.10.21.0 for that wireless device.

When going to the folder, Windows 7 says "No drivers found" or something like that. Let me check again real quick though.
