    USB controller (unknown device)

    Hello,
After installing windows 7 again on a seperate drive in a windows 10 OP PC. I can't get my external Seagate Go Flex Desk drive to be recognized. It works fine on win 10. I connect it USB 3.0, as it is compatible. I'm not sure what or where to find the driver missing.

Don't know what that is. However, it works when I boot into Win 10 fine.

windows 10 comes with usb3 drivers already included.

Windows 7 does not come with usb3 drivers included.

Therefore you need to install them.

    Thank You SIW2, Worked flawlessly!

One other thing, I keep getting a windows download error. Every time I shut down it loads 1 update. then prepares it again and again every-time I boot into 7. I attempt to download it manually and it fails.

May have resolved the update issue. I'll see.
