Do you mean network devices or something else in device manager?

Just downloading - http://support.packardbell.com/uk/it...amadeus_imedia and downloaded another one.

I'll give it ago - thanks

Could I have picked the wrong one?

Have you tried the drivers in safe mode?

I'm in safe mode now - i'll see if they go off or not.

    And they went...

I decided also to put Vista back on however using a different partition. The USBs havn't gone while on Vista.

If your system won't run 64 bit properly, and you're sure you have both updated your BIOS to the latest, and set all the individual BIOS options up optimally, then just go back to an x86 environment...

This Microsoft TechNet Forum thread might provide the solution you need:

Hotfix posted for Nvidia/x64 USB transfer issues

The thread contains a link to a Windows 7 Hotfix to correct a USB data transfer issue affecting mobos with nVidia chipsets.
