H310 chipset and HD 630 drivers for Win 7 x64

Hello, maybe i ask too much and i apologize in advance if is not the correct place, i want to buy a barebone mini pc (i like the Asrock Deskmini 310) and install windows 7 x64 into it, but the issue is that i'm not sure if this is compatible, i read there aren't official working drivers for H310 chipset controller and the UHD 630 integrated vga. The barebone do not have any pci-e slot so this mean no third party adapters and dedicated graphic card is possible.

My question is, can someone know if exist and link or send me modded drivers so i can use windows 7 x64 pro in this specific device? Thank you.

Sure there are. Win 7 can run beautifully on most 300 series motherboards.

One thing to be careful on that asrock motherboard - Intel® Gigabit I219V .

Choose a motherboard with Realtek lan or be prepared the change nic card. Also make sure it has CSM support.

People are running win7 on asrock z370 boards so it is likely that asrock 310 would be ok except for the intel nic.

Thanks for all the links, really appreciated, but isn't Z370 compatible with windows 7 like B365? I mean, there are official usb3 drivers that work on that chipset, but on 14nm chipsets, like H310, B360, H370, Z390 there are several issues.

Also why is the Intel nic an issue? My bro pc with B365M have the same intel nic and work without any issue.

Might be ok, it depends on the device id. Apparently the z370 taichi intel nic is ok so probably will be ok on the asrock 310. Some people have had difficulty with 1219v.

but on 14nm chipsets, like H310, B360, H370, Z390 there are several issues.

All the 8th and 9th gen intel cpu are 14nm. I dont know what you mean.

Use the link to update your win7 media and it includes usb3 and nvme support automatically.

Extract the serial io drivers zip into the Drivers\Installx64 folder before you begin.

You can install the cpu graphics drivers after you have installed win 7 and got to the desktop.

Then run the graphics driver setup file.

Was speaking about the chipset, official intel usb3 drivers do not work with H310/B360/H370/Q370/Z390/HM370, this is why i asked if there are some modded drivers that work with this specific combo. I need to be sure before i buy it or i will waste money, really hate win 10.

Of course they work with B365 and Z370 chipsets, i already knew, but unfortunaly that barebone have H310 only and the first revision not the C or R2.0.

Ok, so i need to /dism into my win 7 x64 image all the content of the zip you linked above, Intel-Serial-IO-Driver for-300-series-win7x64.zip and USB3_win7_2021.zip, and i'm done? I will have no issue for the system, to recognize my keyboard and mouse?

AHCI drivers to recognize my SSD is not needed? Do not have Nvme ssd only standard 2.5".

You need to add the driver framework update first so the usb3 drivers work. It is included in the zip

    Dism++ add updates and drivers

I have never done it on that particular motherboard, however all other 300 series motherboards I have ever heard of it works fine.

Ah ok, thank you, so i need this tool to inject the modded drivers into install.wim and boot.wim? Never used a tool but always used /dism command via CMD, like this:

MS Dism is used in the Update your installation media project I linked to. Works ok.

You might also want to include windows6.1-kb4474419-v3-x64.msu in boot.wim and install.wim to add sha 2 support because updates mse defintion updates and recent versions of drivers want sha 2 support.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are going to try and use Windows Update, you should also include windows6.1-kb3138612-x64.msu in install.wim .

    https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/e...ient-installed

    Download Windows6.1-KB3138612-x64.msu

    Download Windows6.1-KB3138612-x86.msu

If you use the link I provided it does all that and more.
