HP Pavilion a810n Windows 7 Drivers

I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate onto my HP Pavilion a810n, but cannot get the XP drivers to work with it. I really only need the network driver to work so I can access the internet. I have tried extracting the drivers to a folder and tried to add it using the "device manager" manually but that does not seem to work.

It would also be great to get the motherboard audio/video drivers to work. Not that important since I have an external sound card and an ATI All in wonder Video Card.

    Please help!

    Thank you in advance!

    Thanks for the quick reply!

The model of my motherboard looks like a "SiS760LV"

Just googled the model and this came up. Looks like it! I am not 100% but when I get home I will see what boots up and update this accordingly.

The network audio and video are all integrated and I don't know how to find out what the integrated network card is.

I am using a 64bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi djhustla,
The drivers I found do not "support Windows 7" but they may still work...

!!BEFORE YOU BEGIN PLEASE CREATE A RESTORE POINT!!

This is the first one I found is this one it says it works with Windows Vista.(CLICK HERE).(if you get an error saying that your OS is doesn't meet the minimum requirements for this update (9998)) Then try the next one..

The second one I would Try is this one (CLICK HERE) it says it supports XP it might or might not work.. IF not try this last one...

I was able to find this same topic on HP Forums and they guy said it worked..(CLICK HERE) to try it out.. this is an XP Driver he said it worked on Windows 7....(CLICK HERE TO SEE HP FORUM)

If all above fails I would Contact HP Support..

    Hope this Helps..and Happy Holidays..:)

OK. So I tried all of the option's that "Ryan2320" gave me but none of them seem to work. After clicking on the link directly to the HP forum it seems like it was a hit and miss also.

So....I cheated a bit. I had an old network card lying around.
    It is a "SMC1244TX
    EZ Card™ 10/100
    "

So I connected to the internet and did the windows update. I have attached what it found when I first did the update. It looks like windows found my SMC network card to be a "Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC".

Windows update did however found a working driver for the onboard motherboard. It found it as a "SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adaptor"

It also found a SiS Accelerated Graphics Port.

    So success!

Still no onboard audio driver though.

I have attached two screen grabs of what windows update finds after the first update and of the network driver details. If someone can tell me how to extract the driver I can post it here!

    On a side note:
I also have a Ati All-in-Winder 2006 AGP video card and cannot find windows 7 drivers for this one. I still have to find a fix for this one!

    djhustla,
Glad to see that you were able to get some of it working..

What is wrong with your Audio and Video card Drivers??..I look at the Device Manger picture and Windows 7 does not detect anything wrong?

Have you tried Vista drivers for your video card? That might work..

You might have already tried this but did you try installing your sound driver with the XP driver from HP..If you did do you remember if there was an error code at all..

    Hope this Helps..

    Hey Ryan2320,

Thanks for all your help. Your right. Everything on the onboard part of the motherboard works. Same with my All in wonder video card. Just the graphics portion of it. I did find the driver for the onboard LAN. It is posted here:

SIS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Driver "sl119.zip"

and I didn't try this but here is the Audio Driver "a12112d.zip"
