Well, this will put you into the game, I hope:

1. Take the model AND VERSION NUMBER of your motherboard, for example, "GA-MA78GM-S2H rev 1.1".

2. In your Google search bar, staying with the previous example, try something like this:
GA-MA78GM-S2H rev 1.1 +SATA +drivers
(Notice the + signs which effectively demand the search engine doesn't deviate.)

3. Choose what will very probably be the first choice at the top of what Google comes up with.

4. If you find yourself on your motherboard's page with all the drivers listed for your rig, bookmark that page, because you'll want to return there many times in the future.

5. And now you should be able to snoop around and look for your drivers. You might want to select your best guesses and return here to get some expert (not me) to confirm your choice.

SATA Drivers?
Hi everyone, I'm getting ready to remove Windows 7 RC and install my legit copy of Windows 7 on my PC. My version of Windows 7 is a XP Pro -> Windows 7 Pro upgrade. When I did this upgrade on my laptop, I ran into a bunch of SATA issues because Windows XP does not support SATA on the default...
