Thanks for the great help.
The link for the Nikon software has changed. It's now at https://www.nikonimgsupport.com/ni/N...646&lang=en_US I couldn't run this software until I removed the other Nikon scan software that was installed. Then everything worked fine. BTW what "other Nikon scan software" are you referring to. As stated in the link it needs to be version 4.0.3. |

I had installed Nikon Scan 3.1.3 when I first tried to connect up the scanner. The presence of that software wouldn't let 4.0.3 be installed. The error I got was vague, but I finally realized the issue and all went smoothly after that.

Nikon Coolscan III and 64 bit W7 Is this possible? The Coolscan has a 50 pin SCSI-1 cable. I can't seem to find a SCSI card that will run on a 64-bit system and also take that plug. They all take Ultra 50 pin. Currently installed is the Adaptec AHA-2940 PCI, which I was using on the x86 XP system installed prior to the upgrade... |
