Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit / XP Home sp3

2 firewalls and 2 anitviruses is over kill and not reccomended. You only need to run 1 of each. It is highly possible you are having conflicts between your anitviruses and them scanning in the background, thus using up recourses and causing lag. Pick one and uninstall the others. then see if your still experinencing the same problem

Windows 7 Home Premium

I haven't played WOW; however, I had a similar problem with COD World at War 2. I could not even play at 640x480 without the symptoms you describe. I went into the Advanced Graphics setting in the game and turned off everything except keep aspect ration. Now I am able to play at 1920x1080, the game is smooth and looks great. I hope it works for you as at least a temporary solution.
