Use the guide in my sig and the support page of the manufacturer for that laptop to find and install the right driver.

Well this is the site for your laptop and they don't even list a web cam??http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...roduct=3873043 I looked under the original OS Vista I guessed. Does it show up in device manager? If so please click on it>properties>details tab>drop down menu>hardware id>Copy and Paste the string and we'll see about finding a driver for it. Page 7 in the online manual clearly shows an integrated web camera So I don't know why they don't list a driver for it http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01626023.pdf

The imaging device would be a scanner I would guess. Why it isn't picking up your web camera, I don't know was it working before you installed Win 7?
