    LPR setup (Linksys EPSX3 Printserver)

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and have a trusty EPSX3 PrintServer that works flawlessly under WinXP using LPR for Ports 1 (L1 - LaserJet) and 2 (L2 - Deskjet). My wife's laptop is running Vista (Enterprise I think) and also works using LPR for both although is a little squirrely sometimes. I recently got Windows 7 and installed the LPR service - Port 1 works fine but Port 2 WILL NOT work - PERIOD. Anyone else have problems using a different queue???

Forgot to mention - I already had to do Windows Update to get the proper drivers when I installed the printers.

Turns out it WAS Microsoft (or HP)!

I was troubleshooting another HP printer and stumbled across this:

Deskjet 710/720/810/820/100 Series printers - Patch for 64 b... - HP Support Forum

link. It turns out is wasn't the print server but the 64 bit printer driver. The trusty old printer finally works after a year and a half!
