i have a Gateway T-6330U with vista home basic on it..i am thinking about upgrading it to windows 7...but my fear is,i went to gateway website to see if they have any drivers for my model for windows 7 but notice that there was none..i was wondering if it possible that if any of the old drivers they have would word on w7..or if there are other drivers i can use e.g wireless, sound, video, webcam. for my laptop to work with windows 7

More than likely, the drivers built for Vista will work fine in Windows 7

Amazingly, the upgrade tool often understates what will actually run with 7. Lots of older machines happily chugging along with the latest OS. Overall 7 seems to manage resources better than Vista, so if it is running with Vista, chances are it will only run better with 7.

Just make sure also that you download all the necessary drivers first (Use Vista drivers if no 7 drivers are available), and save them to a USB stick or DVD before you switch - for just in case you loose your internet connection in the process.
