    Touchpad DOESNT work

I turned of my touch pad using 'FN+F9' and now my 'FN' key is spoilt. Is there away to turn it back on without the 'FN' key?

    HUH?
You have a laptop I think.
What brand and model would be helpful if you want someone to help.

You wrote " 'FN' key is spoilt." What is spoilt?

    Thank you

I think "spoilt" means spoiled because it was spilt on.

Sorry. It was a typing error. I meant spoiled. I have a Toshiba Qosmio F50 Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) as the operating system.
Normally when the 'FN' key is pressed to short cut buttons will appear on the top of the screen. This does not happen anymore. I think my 'FN' key is spoiled or has a problem ever since i changed to Windows 7.
However the 'Fn' key can be used for soft keys of F10 and F11 which is to turn on the numeric keypad keys (FN + F11) and the cursor control keys (FN + F10). The F1 to F12 keys are all working normally except for the soft keys.
If fixing this 'FN' key is not possible maybe there is a way I can enable my touch pad through the control panel or something. (It had be previously disabled but the soft key 'FN+F9').

Maybe try restarting the flash cards?

Under control panel go to mouse and check your settings. (On a laptop the touchpad is considered the mouse.)

And welcome to the Forum Tim.
