    Touchpad Problem


    Hi,

    I Use a wireless Mouse so i often turn off my Touchpad on the laptop. And since i installed windows 7 The pad stays on whether i turn it off or not. I was wondering if maybe i needed to update a driver or something.

    Its a Compaq laptop with Windows 7

    Is there an app in the taskbar that lets you control your touchpad?? That's the only thing I can think of that would let you control those options unless there is something physically wrong with it. Also you could try to uninstall the driver and reinstall it.

    ok nvm.. I was looking for a touch pad option and it was listed under mouse.. with my other usb mouse. I updated the drivers and restarted and now it works properly. Thanx Alot !

    Touch Pad


    Try Fn + F10 to Activate/Deactivate touch pad
