    yeah it went to blank screen saying missing operating system. Is the problem in RAID driver you think?
    I am wondering.
    Have you tried a Startup Repair? Run it 3 times, and if it does not work, try changing your SATA operation mode to AHCI and then running it 3 times.

    How many times did you run it? Did you run it in both AHCI and RAID mode?

    AHCI i couldnt run it it would go straight to the black screen saying there was no operating system. in RAID it always comes up with a screen that says "If you have recently installed any devices remove them and scan again." and there are no problems found in the report

    Let's abandon that idea and try another route. Where did you get the drivers for your card? From the manufacturer's site or did Windows automaically find them. Either way, let's try the other. First, go into Device Manager and right-click on your Display Adapter. Then select Uninstall, and reboot.

    Raid is by factory design and cannot be changed without a complete redo of the hard drives. From custom gaming laptops - Welcome to Sager Notebooks

    "Enjoy all the space you could ever want with industry-leading RAID-enabled fault tolerance storage capacities. The ultimate mobile data storage solution provides performance, utility, and security without compromising an internal optical drive."

    RAID 0 provides no data security. It divides the data movement across, in this case, the three hard drives supposedly increasing hard drive speed 3X. I am just a simple tech and this strategy boggles my mind.

    However, what ever RAID drivers / software that came with your disk should be compatible. Question: Was there an Operating System on the laptop before you used the disk that came with it and installed 7?

    Happy sailing!

    OK;

    I am just trying to understand correctly, because you said in your first post: "I got the computer, installed the windows 7 and the drivers on the disc that came with it." So was 7 pre-installed or did you do it?

    Also, based on your description here: "Everything boots up just fine and LOOKS like it is doing alright but it keeps freezing up... about every minute or two and only freezes for about 10-15 seconds. I have also had the screen reset a couple of times with the popup saying my graphics driver has failed and recovered." I do not think you have anything to worry about for now. Please wait until you have Internet access. Once you are able to access Windows Update, you should receive automatically the driver / software updates to correct most of these issues. I also noticed Sager gives you LIFETIME support so you should have no problem getting any driver / software updates form them (again, once you have Internet access!).

    BTW, you have an awesome computer!! We could combine my entire collection of old P3s, P4s, and AMDs and still wouldn't come close to your amazing machine. I envy you. Please just be a little patient and the updates will come.

    Cheers!

    lol i always put a fresh install on laptops i get to get rid of the crapware that always comes with em. so it came installed with 7, i reinstalled 7. also i have had it online and done the update (thats what i spent ALL of christmas eve and christmas doing... trying to make this amazing machine do amazing things). i have been googling this whole time and somewhere it said that nvidia raid controllers can conflict with newer windows 7 builds. idk losin my mind here.

    on an unrelated side note... the spell checker for this forum underlined christmas but not googling. technology is getting out of hand.
