Hi Elmit! Try installing these drivers: Answer.

If that doesn't work, remove the card from your PC, then install drivers. Then put the card back and reboot.

Have you tried using the hotkey to enable the wifi? Not sure what the XPS combo is. On Lenovo it's Fn + F5

If you dont get the wifi light to turn on, maybe a hotkey utility need to be installed.

the driver has not been signed and windows 64 bit doesn't allow unsigned drivers to run.

on boot, press F8 as you would to boot in safe mode and select 'disable digital signature enforcement'. this will only disable it for the session and will need to done each time the computer is rebooted/restarted.

hopefully the driver will be signed soon as it does in fact work with win 7 64.

Network card name reporting incorrectly in wireless network list area
My rig uses a Centrino Advanced-N 6230 wireless mini half-card. It reports the correct name except within the wireless network list. Instead of 6230 it reports 6320. I searched the registry to see if I could find the error, but nothing found. It's only a nuisance, and a minor one at that. ...
