    NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150

I just updated from Windows Vista 32-bit to Windows 7 32-bit and the resolution is too low. I can not get it to go higher. For some reason, the driver did not update correctly and only says "Standard VGA Card". Windows Update has an option update for my card, the NVIDIA 6eForce Go 6150 but it always fails to install. Any ideas?

    It's an HP Pavilion dv9000.

I think I will take you up on that offer.

This is a WHQL-certified driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.

Actually you had it right pepply, the HP Pavilion dv9000 is indeed a notebook PC and will require the notebook version of those drivers.

That particular driver for the 6150 Go, can be obtained by going to the link below. Just click on the red "download driver" and you are good to go.

The Windows update version is only for 64 bit notebooks which is why it failed to install. The driver below is the Windows 7 32 bit version made just for notebooks.

The driver from the HP support site might also work but there is no mention of Windows 7 support for your notebook there. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...roduct=1842189
