@Benoitx,
Your English comes across just fine from where I'm sitting! Much better than some of the young locals here in the UK, who choose to use "txt spk" at every opportunity.
Thanks for the tip!

Gleonard please keep your issue to one thread. I have answered your question here: HP 1280 Printer
No need to use 1220c Driver....Try this instead.. Plug in your HP Deskjet 1280 in the USB port and then go to Devices & Printers inside control panel. You should see one "unspecified" device below. Right click on it and hit Properties, go to to Hardware tab and click Properties, once appeared hit the Change Settings below left and click on Update Driver. Hope this helps
My hp 1280 works fine while printing files such as jpegs and PFDs. But somehow my AutoCAD 2010 doesnt seem to acknowledge it as yet and gives the following warning message:
"This plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reasons: the driver cannot be found, the device cannot be found, or the driver has a problem. The None plot device has been substituted."
can someone please explain how to fix it? since rest of the laptop is apparently compatible with the printer but only AutoCAD isnt!...=S however my previous printer (hp 2050) works just fine with AutoCAD. o.O
