    Error code 28 access denied

My computer told me it was time to update my graphics driver which I did. however I ended up trying to install the driver that was already on my pc as it was up to date. Subsequently my graphics driver fails to work. I have uninstalled it and tried to reinstall but I get the message "error code 28 access denied". further more I performed several system restore and each time I role back, mozilla firefox fails to work as does internet explorer, they both crash. (I therefore have no internet access as I'm on a resnet and need to log in to use the internet ) Advice anyone please.

Try getting the driver from Nvidia directly and installing it, instead of using Windows update.

    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums StormingNorman.

First, go into Control Panel and uninstall the driver for your graphics adapter.

Next, go into Device Manager and uninstall the actual graphics adapter (right-click on it after expanding Display Adapters and select Uninstall) then restart your computer.

Windows should detect your graphics adapter so just install the latest NVIDIA driver, which I assume you saved after you downloaded it? If not, just download it again.
