O2Micro CCID SC Reader error in EventLog

    Hello all,

I've been getting this error in the event log lately. I'm not sure why I am getting this but it's just too annoying. Does anybody know why I'm getting this error? I can see the Smart Card Device from Device Manager and it's not reporting any issues. Thanks for your help!

I set the Windows Biometric Service to manual and no more errors during start up. I tried to change the Smart Card Service to Manual but it keeps changing to Automatic after a reboot, not sure why.
