    Folder Permission required!

    Hello,
operating on windows 7, I wanted to download a file and save it in my C drive but it says I need to contact the admintrator and request permission. How do i resolve this issue and be granted all access? Also, i tried going to folder properties and editing what is "allowed" but it is not possible to click on it.
    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance

If by invisible you mean that you can't see them then this should help.

As far as it being locked, what do you mean? You can't get in or it shows a padlock?

Well try the hidden files and folder tutorial I linked you too and then just open the files.

I believe the padlock is just a permssions thing and if you took ownership that should allow you to access them
