    Microsoft VX-1000


    I have recently purchesed this webcam and im running Windows 7 64 Bit 7000 Build and ive got the latest Windows Live Messnger and the windows 7 drivers and wen i look in setup it works fine i can see it but when i try turn it on in a convo is loads and when it gets to connected it turns off?? plz help

    Have you had a look here for the latest drivers, they released one for Windows 7 at the time of the Beta release. Microsoft Hardware Support for the Windows® 7 Operating System Beta Release

    Install LifeCam 32-bit and 64-bit beta software

    OK i thought I would ask because I had some issues with the same web cam when I first used Windows 7 before the public release, are you using Messenger in Vista compatibility mode?

    no but it works with some of my friends but not all of them
