need new drivers

    as with most of the older dell models they are not officially win7 supported so you will have to do as thefabe says and load the drivers in compat mode for them to work effectively. you will find that your lappy will actually run faster and be more stable under win7 there should be no need to download all the drivers ,just the ones you require

    so u recommend just the drivers for my specific service tag?

    If you could copy and paste a screen shot of your device manager and we could see what devices have yelow triangels next to them, then those would be the ones you would want to install the drivers for first off. Fabe

    i can get you the print screen pic, but there are only 3 devices with the yellow triangle.

    there are some programs that came with the comp that arent here since the clean install, will the drivers get them back or will I have to find them somewhere else in the dell website?
