    Nivida driver failing 8400M GS

Just joined so i need some help.
Have just started getting problems with win 7 and Nvidia drivers for 8400M GS. It has been running for a couple of months no worries
I have installed the latest driver from Nvidia Website and tried earlier versions as well and get the same problem, that being it shuting down with either a blue , black or multi color pixcel scatter, then either rebooting or just freezing.
i have read alot of forums with same issues and now am over it.

So some insight would be nice an the best results seem to come from here .
I am curently having to run in safe mode as it is to unstable to run normally.

    Hp pavillion dv2533TX
    intel 1.66GB
    nivida 8400M GS driver 195.62

Those drivers on Nvidia site are for desktop cards, its usually up to the laptop manufacturer to provide their custom driver.

As FZ21Z suggested is the only other option.

slightly different, I have HP dv6519tx but 8400M GS so maybe u could try the same driver from HP. I have been using Win7 Ultimate x64 for months with HP's Vista driver and absolutely no problems whatsoever.
