If you install a bda driver on skystar2 cards it will NEVER show up as a network card but in audio/sound controllers as that tv star bla its normal the device works 100% with apps that support bda offcourse.
    Mediacenter/ProgDVB/AltDVB/My theatre/DVBViewer ect

Only as i mention the lack of a possible proper diseqc support in bda drivers which has fixed in 4.50a

With the wdm driver it show up as a network card (which it was orginal designed for hence sat i-net and the tune app... back in those days there was no bda driver))

Man I couldn't make the BDA driver work, not with Mytheatre not with Progdvb. You mentioned previously the WMCenter I tried that with the BDA and it saw the card but then I wasn't able to find the Echostar Sat which is the one I can tune in from my place. Do you know something about finding this sat specifically.
    Thanks

Echostar satelittes are broadcasting from 6 different orbital positions, pick the one you need, enter a active digital transponder frequency in the tuning app or any other dvb app with a signal bar and swing the dish until you have enough signal

I dunno precise eval and stuff for echostars im not in n.a.

It is important to have a clean install of windows 7.
    and motherboards and chipset drivers.
    Create a system restore point.
Then update network adapter driver to 4.3.3 beta and install it anyway if promts.
This driver will be no successfull updatet and then proceed again to technisat 4.5.0 drivers.
In most cases it will be successfully.
Im now with 7229 release 64 bit.

Hi ,All you guys looking for the Skystar 2 driver for Windows 7.. Don't waste your time on installing any driver like 4.3.3 beta and....

Just download this DVB Support Download Center » Drivers » Driver Pack 1.2.1
    follow this:

1.unistall any previous driver related to Skystar 2 PCI card
2.There will be unknown device in your device manager
3.Install this program DVB Support Download Center » Drivers » Driver Pack 1.2.1
4.open the program and select any driver you want (choose latest 4.5.0)

Now the main driver is installed. You can install any program like DVB Dream and ....)
    Done.
Nobody can say It doesn't work.... It works great on any version of windows 7.

Hi guys on day 3 of my challenge to install the skystar 2 pci on my PC i think I'll give it up. Maybe it works only on pre-versions of windows 7? I use Windows 7 32 Bit Build 7600 its the offical full version. All BDA drivers keeps getting me a Bluescreen. The Network drivers will install sucessfully but they leave a yellow sign in the device manager with an error (code 10) all of the NET drivers. So what can i try further on?

One positiv mark is that Win7 is really stable after a minimum of 15 Blue Screen of deaths

    Suggestions are appreciated
