    3D DriveGuard drivers on nc8430

    Hi,

Got a nc8430 laptop which is vista capable.
Anyways installed W7 x86 yesterday and I couldn't make DriveGuard to support my drive.
I tried various combination of drivers from version 3.0 rev C to the latest 4.0.4.1 wich are specifically made for W7.
With older drivers i got only "Notebook hard drive not supported".
    With newer drivers i had:
    - Notebook hard drive not supported
    - Multibay hard drive supported

    So what's the problem here?
Did anyone manage to install DriveGuard with their older laptop on Windows 7?

I would be very thankful if someone could provide a solution or help me out here.

    Thanks in advanced

Been messing around with drivers in device manager and here's what I found:

The HP Disk Filter driver (hpdskflt.sys) is located: C:\Windows\system32\drivers
When i view "Mobile data protection sensor" driver in device manager under details the hpdskflt.sys is shown as signed
Now i went for my disk driver and under details the hpdskflt.sys driver is under C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS (notice the caps) and IS NOT digitally signed
so far i know the file locations are both the same yet the file appears signed under one, and not signed under the other one
    WTF
    This is seriously messed up
I tried removing the hpdskflt.sys AFTER uninstalling all DriveGuard drivers yet some older (3.1.0) version of the file (as opposed to the newest 4.0.2.1 when the latest driveguard drivers are installed) but i end up with BSOD if i do that
How do I even completely clean all traces of DriveGuard drivers??
