OK well 1 down 1 to go. Like I said in the PM, I'm just waking up and will see what we can come up with in a little while as soon as I've shaken the cobwebs out. Also thanks for posting your sound Max fix link it will be helpful for others. Fabe

ATI it appears has moved the 1900 series cards to the legacy drivers 9.11 Which are for XP and Vista. Try using the download under compatibility mode Vista by downloading it> unpacking it (if needed) then right click on the setup.exe file >properties>select Vista>check the box run in compatibility mode. And lets see Whit happens from their. Sometimes I have read that you may nit be able to get the CCC with it but try it first, then if not try just the second download on the page I linked yo to. Hope this will help. Fabe ATI Catalyst? Legacy Display Driver

as far as the graphics im still running circles. I tried different drivers packages for winvis-64/win7-64 and still nothing.Another thing I tried was bios config palette snooping-y/n?,allocate irq to pci vga-y/n?,plug and play os-y/n?. in the boot graphics priority its running in peg/igd will not work in pci/igd now may i remind you that none of this is hardware failure due to everything was running optimal with win xp 32 bit

I would suggest setting everything to default in your bios. Also just out of curiosity what bios are you using? Looking through all the bios updates for your board and fixes has me wondering. Bois version 0501 says Fix system no display after installation of 64 bit OS and booting to the windows for the first time. Lots of bios updates. So I would defiantly recommend having the latest bios. ATI still recommends the 9.11 driver but that got you know where you said so? I have to tell you I wish some ATI members would chime in on this one. Fabe
