was on INTEL's site, looks like this video controller is just out of luck.
Well back to Linux I guess, I have COMPIZ running on there with this video and no problems. So for my dose of eye candy I will use that. Just put Win 7 on the laptop to learn it basically. The help desk where I work has some accounts moving to it. Thanks for your effort. I will keep checking though.

No, did not work. Just think I am out of luck on this one.
    Thanks.

I included what this video controller is capable of. This was using Linux with compiz installed.

You can try right-clicking the adaptor, updating and finding the extracted files manually. Point device manager to that.

I must be totally blind. I went to the link in your post, but I see nowhere to download the drivers. (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...18576&lang=eng)
Sorry, but I have looked 4 times now. Am I too Linux orientated? Blind? Crazy?

    Thanks

    Version

I have windows ultimate 32 bit version.

I still don't see the link. If I drill down through the menu system, no driver is listed. If I click on the link below it, I go to the URL I posted. What the freak am I doing differently?

    Thanks

looks like there is not going to be support for you and windows 7 Graphics — Older Intel® graphics controllers and Microsoft Windows 7* operating system Intel has not tested XPDM graphics drivers on the Windows 7 operating system. XPDM drivers may install but may function with limited functionality. How do I get XPDM drivers for my Intel® graphics controller?
XPDM drivers are drivers developed for the Windows* XP operating system (OS). Intel recommends getting the latest drivers for your computer from your computer manufacturer. Some computer manufacturers require drivers that they customized and validated for your specific computer model.

Intel makes available generic versions of the Intel® graphics drivers for the Windows XP OS. If you choose not to use your computer manufacturer's validated driver and want to install the Intel generic driver, these generic drivers are available from the Intel® Driver Update Utility. However, if you encounter a problem with using the generic driver, Intel recommends installing and using the latest validated driver from your computer manufacturer.
