Problem with my Acer hard drive....

I have a probem with my hard drive. I couldnt set my hard drive back to factory settings so I took it out and I put it in an Toshiba Satellite L455-S5975 so I could install Windows 7 on it since my cd-rom drive doesnt work. I did that and it worked but when I put it back in the Acer Aspire 5520 it wont boot up Windows. After it gets to the Windows screen I get a BSOD and it just restarts and it does that over and over. When I put it in the Toshiba, it boots up and works just fine. How can I make it so that the new hard drive works with my Acer laptop? Or is there anything I can do period so that my hard drive works in my Acer again? The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate.
