Windows 7: how to see my graphic drivers?

how to see my graphic drivers?

Well firstly i forgot the command to ented in RUN which brings up the info box which has every thing about my graphic memory along with other suff so can any one tell me the code? and what is the shortcut key for RUN?

and Also i will ask again where to find the right drivers after i am done seeing what driver i need XD

Right click on the desktop and select screen resolution and then click on advanced settings and you should have a window that looks like this.

then click on properties and go to the driver tab and you should see what driver is installed.

but again what is the code if you had told it as well i would have been extra happy or is that for xp only?

the code starts with dxd or something like that lol

DxDiag is a completely different thing than the display properties - and it only deals with aspects of DirectX components and some additional information about your hardware and software, again primarily related to DirectX.

Shortcut to Run - Win + R

And the card that GRIM is showing is *definitely* not AGP - it is PCI-Express. 16X PCI-Express ver. 2.0, to be exact.

I believe it is a PCI-E card; AGP does not have enough bandwidth.

thanks but i downloaded and installed vista drivers but it said the drivers are not for the os?

Anyways, uninstall the drivers. Then Right Click on your driver package or .ini file(s) and hit Troubleshoot Compatibility. Select the first and third options under What problems do you notice? Complete the Wizard and install.

If your graphics card is from ATi, their 7 drivers are ready for the public. Not sure about nVidia.

One more thing. What build of 7?

Just a question, does anyone know if the 196.etc driver series is WDM 1.1 compliant? I know Win7 uses this model to speed Aero, but being that the drivers support Vista and Win 7 I am wondering if they are WDM 1.1 compliant. I have read the manuals and no mention of this.
