    Webcam problem


    im having problems with my webcam...i think its because of the drivers...its a chinese webcam from an unknown manufacturer...is there any chace that i can find the drivers for 7...on xp it works...

    have a look to see if there is an FCC number anywhere on the 'cam then do a google search on the number:)

    this is a bit drastic , but is it easy to take the webcam apart and look for the FCC number on the circuit board ,otherwise i cant help im afraid, sorry

    Here is another way. In device manager if the device is reconized. Right click on the device>select properties>details tab> drop down menu>hardware id. Copy and Paste the hardware id string. Possibly we can find a suitable driver for it. Please list 32 or 64 bit Seven. You could also try the XP driver in compatibility mode XP Compatibility Mode Thanks Fabe

    Hi, check in your device manager to see if you have any yellow triangles at imaging devices
    or anything else.
