Windows 7 & not installing Graphics Card

    1 other option may be to remove the device from Device Manager by right-clicking and selecting 'Uninstall Device'. This will force Windows to use the 'Standard VGA Adaptor' but may clear any drive issues that may be causing the card not to be detected properly. You will then need to reboot, and in Device Manager try right clicking then 'Update Software driver' again.

    tried what u said Shark, Didn't work...tried the 64bit FZ, didn't work...thanks for all the help guys...I'm running out of possibilities

    yea I tried the link and it didn't work...I guess its the card because I put it in another computer that has windows 7 32bit(same results) and I booted up a windows xp hard drive and same results, all saying Standard VGA Graphics Adapter

    if its still under warranty ,take it back add a little more cash and get the gtx series card sorry we could'nt help you
