AT&T Option GT Max 3.6 Express

Has anyone gotten this to work? I downloaded the latest ATT communication manager and it does more damage than good. I end up losing USB connectivity. Luckly I can uninstall and the USB devices begin working. When the software isn't installed Windows detects the card but doesn't have a driver for it.

Please help, this is the only thing I don't have working on build 7000

Levono T61, it's a PCI Express card computer. I've tried the latest AT&T Communication Manager without any luck. It basicaly breaks the system's ability to use USB devices. I was hoping someone has came up with a trick to making this work.

Anyone have any ideas here for a work-around? I love Windows 7 but this might be a deal breaker after a week or so. I do too much traveling to be without.

Try to use the Option Connect Software. I am not sure if it will work but it is worth a try... I use it with Option Quicksilver on my Vista laptop because the ATT Communications Manager would not work for me...

When I drill into that link for the GT Max it prompts for a userID and password. Any other suggestions? Am I the only one that uses a ATT cellular card with Windows 7?

I just clicked there and they didn't ask for a username or password. Please try again.

the main page doesn't ask for a download, it only shows up when you click on the link for the GT Max download. If you click on the link I posted you'll see what I am getting.

OK, I see what you mean. On all the other Option devices, there is no need for username. Did you try to contact ATT support to get a username and password?

Well folks, I have bad news about this card. I wrote Option to see if I could get my hands on a beta driver or something. This is the response I got. Time to hit Ebay for a new card...

    Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in our company and our products.

This product is end of life, this means that no development will be done anymore for this device. So there will be no Windows 7 support for the Option 3.6 Express.
    Kind regards
