    The solution isn't working for me.


    I tried the solution a few months ago, but now it's coming up with a different screen, I don't know what to do, the driver list changed and I cant find the one I need..

    Try a different USB port if you have one, or reinstall the Xbox360 drivers

    I've tried multiple usb ports, and reinstalling the drivers, still nothing.

    So on the left hand side you don't see anything like "Windows Common Controller for Window Class " or Microsoft common controller"

    I would uninstall the device in Device manager. Reboot the computer, then try again. Is this a new controller, perhaps its a clone and that is why your having issues.

    It's not brand new, and it's a wireless receiver, the company is Ortz, but it was working fine for almost a year and i'm just now starting to get problems with it, it's not coming up in the device manager with the stuff already installed, i tried reinstalling it, but it didn't work, and i couldn't find the right driver in the list

    I would try putting new batteries in. If that doesn't fix it, uninstall the unknown device, reboot and try again.

    I found out that it's a hardware faliure, the micro chip fried or something, that's what the screen i posted meant, time to buy a new one, but a real microsoft one this time
