Touch Screen doesn't work out of sleep

Hi Guys...I'm using the Lenovo multi touch driver for my X61T. With Windows 7 build 7000 the same driver when I wake my laptop from sleep the touch screen works. Starting with build 704x (i can't remember the exact build but it was the first leaked x64 build) when I wake the machine from sleep the touch screen doesn't work (both pen and finger touch)

I have tried to change USB settings but I haven't seen any fix. A restart of the machine means the tablet works again. Any ideas about a patch until Lenovo makes new drivers for Windows 7?

There is a registry patch for better USB connectivity after waking from sleep, available from Lenovo.

Lenovo Support & downloads - Registry patch to improve USB device detection on resume from sleep for Windows Vista - Notebooks

How's the touchscreen working for you? Hope it's great! I don't like touchscreens because the screen can heat up and flicking your finger around on it can really burn.

the USB patch fails to install even in vista compatibility mode. interestingly today i noticed that the screen worked right out of sleep at the lock screen and then stopped working 20-30 seconds later before I authenticated.

and i love the x61t....huge apple guy but windows 7 on this baby has made me start to look the other way.

In that 20 to 30 seconds, pull up Device Manager and see if there is a yellow exclamination point next to your touch screen device.

7077 and a clean install (i also didn't install Lenovo's power manager) has resolved this issue. The tablet now works out of sleep.
