Need a good audio driver for HP Pavilion ZE4805US

I just installed Win7 Ultimate 32 on this old notebook and I can’t find the audio and lan drivers anywhere. I know they work with XP automatically but HP doesn’t have them on their site. Maybe there is a way to pull them out of XP but I'm not that techy.

    Please help.

    Thanks in advance!

If HP lists a XP driver you can try and install them using compatibility mode. Right click on the setup.exe file>properties>compatibility>select XP>check the box run in compatiblity mode. Run setup.exe as administrator. See if they will install. Thanks. Fabe

I kind of figured I would need to do that. My main problem is that I can't find or don't know where to look for the actual drivers themselves. HP doesn't have any on there website and I haven't found any source on the web for them. Is there a way to extract them from an xp disk or download them from Microsoft? If so please explain/link.

Thanks for taking the time to post

I already checked that out. The only driver I got that was useful off of that page was the wlan driver. No mention of a lan or audio driver at all. Thanks though, that was the first place I looke. I also emailed HP twice and go no responce to either email. Nice company.

If your audio device has a yellow icon next to it in device manager. Right click on the device>properties>details tab>drop down menu>select hardware id>Copy and Paste the hardware id string. This way we can find out what audio device you have and locate a driver for it. Here are a couple other interesting things to read in regards to your Audio UAA (Universal Audio Architecture) HP Pavilion ze4805us Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English) Program install for UAA Microsoft QFE Update (KB835221) to Support UAA Bus Driver - HP Customer Care (United States - English) Thanks.
