Driver won't install on HP Laserjet 6L x64

I can't seem to get Windows to recognize my printer (connected from parallel to USB cable). I try to install the driver from the Windows list of printers (I had to do an update of the list), but it says that the driver is not signed, when it is clearly from Microsoft and signed. What can I do?

Did you try clicking on it & using it anyway to see if it worked ?

The device comes up as unidentified in the printer window. It only gives me the option to update driver and to troubleshoot. But troubleshoot is useless as it only tries to make it the default device (which it fails to do).

You can try the laserjet 4 driver. Or grab the hp universal print driver.
