what in the device manager is the name of the chipset when no drivers have been installed by myself? when windows has automatically chosen the driver for it.

The chipset drivers show up in alot of catagories and windows will install most of them. Like in system devices. Like zigzag3143 has asked for more information, such as what is it your looking for? Or what is it that has you concerened? Your board uses the AMD 770 chipset. Fabe

First thing about chipset drivers - install them from the motherboard's website after the latest GPU drivers with a fresh 7 install.

GPU comes first, as ATI chipset drivers include GPU drivers.

Uninstall the latest drivers with a Catalyst installer, run Driver Sweeper, then install the latest Nvidia drivers.
