Getting a Error! Driver? or maybe Grapahic Card?
just joined the sevenforums
Running Window 7 right now so yea i need help i just bought a new video card (EVGA GTX260) yesterday and installed it and played with it with no problem....(one day later)......until now so basically here what happens now. when i boot up it goes through the "starting up" phase and when the window 7 says "Welcome" after that i just get a blue screen, no word no picture just blue! So i press the reset button and i am only able to go to my desktop menu by safe mode! and if i try to go through "start up computer regular" it would just lead me to the blue plane screen.... The reason why i think it is the driver is because in safe mode i am able to uninstall my nvidia driver. Restart and WOW i am back to my "REGULAR" desktop menu but with no driver. SO as soon as i am on my screen Window 7 wants install the newly detected video card's drivers for me and i do. when i restart BAM! back to the blue screen Any help? Has this happen to anyone? Is it my driver for sure? or Video card? Thanks |

Could be a problem with the wdm 1.1 drivers, try the latest wdm 1.0 drivers. Since you did not list if your running 32 or 64 bit, here are the downloads for both.
