    Help please

OK, I don't know all the exact stuff off the top of my head that I did, but if you need that info I can post it.

Basically I was trying to get 3rd party skins installed on my 64 bit 7. I went around remaining the appropriate dlls, and copy and pasting the new ones.

*Note - There were over 5 of the same dll's with the same name, and even after I took ownership of them, only some of them would rename.

I copy and pasted over the old files (there were three new things to put in according to the tutorial) and then things went wacky. Windows Explorer wouldn't open, and I could only access my files through my computer, then going to users, user1, and then looking at my files. I shrugged it off, hoping that once I rebooted the PC like the tutorial said that the new files would take effect and it would all be good, and I could start installing 3rd party themes.

Was I ever wrong, the login screen was a bit glitchy in the place where you type in your password, and when I logged in it said something about Windows Explorer (it was an error message), and then when I logged in, I got my desktop background, but nothing loaded up. I freaked, turned off my PC, and now I'm here.

Sorry that I haven't been as specific as you would probably need me to be to properly answer this post. I can be more specific if you ask what you want me to be more specific about. But is there anyway I can set all the dlls to defaults without taking it in somewhere for repair?

    Please help!

Your Welcome. I'm not new to forums themselves but I will usually only be active here if I need something for myself, but if I see something I can help with here I will post.
