Unknown driver, ACPI, & VPC
Someone please comment on these screenshots. They're all from the same branch in device manager
I've installed the latest chipset drivers from Intel, and all compatible lenovo drivers as well.

I've installed the latest chipset drivers from Intel, and all compatible lenovo drivers as well.
Uninstall the device and reinstall it, and see if it finds any drivers for the device.
I've done that a couple of times and the yellow alert comes back. I've also tried disabling it which changes nothing.
Try search /update for new driver, and when you get the window to search ,pick your C drive or whatever drive you have the OS on.
Lenovo doesn't make a 64-bit ACPI driver for your machine. Put 32-bit on or you're likely to end up with battery life in the range of minutes rather than hours.
Some users report using driver(s) from another model works:

Remember that you may need to install these in Vista compatibility mode.
Make sure to rep me (click scales icon in upper right corner of this post) if this works!
Thanks, baarod. Your 2nd link did me some magic.
interesting... I'll have to try this on the Lenovo SL400 I have at home :)
