    need help about driver


    hey, i need help...

    have me in Device Manager : "PCI Simple Communications Controller"

    .I could not find, please help me

    Hi R20,

    it's for a modem. have you checked Windows Update? I got mine thru that. If not, you can see this thread, it might help, as some have gotten it thru Drivermax.

    i checked in windows update and no have nothing :\

    drivermax it for backup drivers from vista? right, it is the problem, no have me vista :S

    Drivermax is for finding driver updates, for Vista yes, but they won't have any listed for Windows 7 as of yet.
    The Vista drivers will most likely work with windows 7. It's worth a try to find the pci simple communications controller driver for vista with it and install. If it doesn't work out, you can uninstall it.
    Others, as you see in that thread, have used it with good results, as they used drivers for vista, again being that they won't have any listed for Windows 7 yet.
