Bios help

I have an older computer that's been running kind of sluggish.I was wondering if upgrading the bios would help and how i go about doing it.Below is a screenshot of my bios information.Appreciate the help.

Upgrading a BIOS usually does not effect a systems performance. Updates are usually released to address bugs the manuf found in the BIOS software or to support new hardware (to support quad core processors for example, if the board is capable of it, but software wise lacked the ability to prior to the update)
