What make and model PC or Motherboard?

It would be a great help to us all if you would fill in your system specs...

How and why did you come to the conclusion that there is an incompatibility?

The screenie you attached shows it's installed. But it says media disconnected.

Can you do a screenshot of a cmd line execution of IPCONFIG/ALL

    and Device Manager also?

Also whos mobo? Name brand and model?

Let's make sure it's not something obvious... your network cable is plugged in, right? Your router is on, right? And cable/dsl/or other modem on?

It looks like you have the driver installed only for the Fast Ethernet (wired) NIC... the other item in your screenie of Device Manger shows an unknown Ethernet controller which is probably your wireless if that's how you connect. It also shows unknown sound and usb camera...

ALSO.... please is the problem a laptop or desktop? What brand and model? It might help us solve your missing driver issues
