web cam drivers

hi guys, i recently installed windows ultimate 64 bit on my laptop dv6500. apparently the web cam that has been fully functional under windows vista is no longer working. please assist.

Hi CNN and welcome, download the vista drivers and install them in compatibility mode Compatibility Mode

If you go to the webcam manufacturers' website and seek a driver for Win 7 64 bit, if there is one then you should find it OK. If you have trouble post the webcam details here and I will happily seek to find a driver for you.
EDIT
If you have an integrated webcam on this laptop which i believe is made by HP then try the HP drivers site.

SORRY seem to have been typing when others had already posted.
