    Win7 x64, Ralink RT2770/RT3072, problem with drivers

okay so i am struggling 3rd day already and thinking of returning it..
but i still have hope that ull help me guys
so heres what i did so far
the original drivers on CD dont work, it shows that it recognizes my USB adapter but when i press connect it shows enabled 2 times but the thing is still gray (offline), i tried the drivers from their website, same thing.. thought there might be a problem with adapter, hooked it up with my sony laptop, worked perfectly, 4gb windows 7 x64 sony shoved two WLAN adapters and it worked very well.. now my desktop originally didnt have any wifi drivers and windows update did not help at all, i still see the gray thing, when i disconnect all the security though it goes green but does not show any networks found, it also doesnt show the same window with all networks found, nothing at all, when i try trouble shoot after restoring the security i get the blue screen of death..

as u see i tried everything, i even tried to find drivers to other USB adapters and install them but i never found one, i think that might work though as i only need ANY WLAN driver in order to this one to work, as it did on my sony laptop.

please help or ill brake it into pieces, burn it, throw it in the ocean, fish it out, put it back together, cancel my payment, and ship it back o.O

    thanks, igor

P.S. i saw some solutions on this forum already and other forums, none helped me, and btw i noted two adapters in the topic thats because im not sure which one is mine, mine is the one with integrated antenna but i dont think it matters anyway..

is it a adapter straight from Ralink? or is it a ralink adapter with another name on it (for instance most Belkin adapters are Ralink under the hood)
