    Reinstall your motherboard drivers. That should fix it. Make sure you get the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Confession: I bought an HP ENVY laptop with WIN-8. I hated it and replaced it with WIN-7 PRO Service Pack 1. The single USB2 port still works fine. The three USB3 ports do not work. I did not check them out before I replaced the operating system but I suppose they were supported with 8 but not 7....

A few minutes ago my TOSHIBA C655 USB ports were working fine not any of the two of them work now. I have tried many cords too. Can someone PLEASE help me?!
